With all of the different finishes, options, and
scroll mounting brackets available, it is possible to customize
almost any of our lanterns for a unique look.
Here are some popular ways you can change the look
of a lantern:
- Add solid copper panels vs. the standard tempered
glass in the upper lights of the lantern.
- Wall mounted lanterns look stunning when combined
with one of the decorative scroll brackets (top loop, double
hook, French Quarter backward scroll, or the classic moustache
scroll
bracket).
- Select one of the available copper finishes for a
unique look.
- Select a different decorative
post mount for a post mount lantern (basic, spider, basic pier,
decorative pier mount).

As with all Charleston Gas Light lanterns, custom crafted designs
can be configured for gas or electric illumination. Gas lanterns
can use LP or natural gas and can include electronic gas safety starters
controlled by switch, timer or photocell.
